The rumors are true, Kendrick Lamar actually wears shoes that aren’t named the Nike Cortez. This time around, the California rapper teams up with Nike as he adds his take to the Nike React Element 55.
Although its been quite sometime since we have seen Kendrick release new music, his partnership with Nike has not gone dry. A Kendrick Lamar Nike shoe is so surprise but this specific one actually is. We have grown accustomed to Kong-Fu Kenny’s take on the Nike Cortez but now he looks to opt out of the old and go all in on the new Nike React Element 55.
Arriving in a Pure Platinum, Clear Wolf Grey and Black colorway, the upper appears to feature a split upper. One half of the shoe calls upon white while the other half dons a black and white marbled design. Grey laces tie the shoe down while a React midsole finishes off the look. While we can’t see the pair of sneakers that well in this image expect to see Kendrick Lamar and Nike branding throughout.
