With the first round of the 2019 NBA Playoffs coming to an end, Kevin Durant debuted a new KD 12 in a “University Red” colorway. Nike’s newest iteration of the KD model dons a vibrant Red color scheme while keeping performance at the forefront.

The KD 12 is Nike’s first model without a midsole portion of a sneaker allowing the wearer to feel the responsive cushioning directly below the feet. With the Nike Air Zoom cushioning sewed directly onto its upper, the KD 12 brings forth a sneaker that boasts functionality and performance into one aesthetically pleasing silhouette.

This recently unveiled KD 12 is composed of an overall “University Red” upper contrasted by a white speckled sole. With subtle hints of black throughout its sock and tongue, this model also features branding from both Nike and KD. Inspired by vintage shirts and their feel, the upper consists of a flexible and comfortable material that allows full performance while hooping. A definite go-to basketball sneaker, the KD 12 presents a stylish and comfortable model to any fan of the KD line.
