Kareem-Abdul-Jabbar-adidas-Forum-Collection

Although LeBron passed the great Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, adidas continues to give the NBA star and face of NBA’s past-time his flowers with a Forum Low collection.

LeBron sits atop the scoring title now but Kareem Abdul-Jabbar will continue to be celebrated for his long-standing record and his legendary status in the game of basketball. adidas has created a Forum Low collection that celebrates various aspects of his life and also his basketball career. Starting with the Forum Low Alpha, the sneaker takes a trip to the University of California Los Angeles where Kareem’s collegiate career began and he caught the eye of the Milwaukee Bucks and was taken first overall in the 1969 NBA Draft. After a long tenure with the Bucks and achieving the team’s first NBA championship in 1971. He was then later traded to the LA Lakers where he cemented his name into Lakers history and of course achieved the scoring title which is highlighted by the Forum Low Accolades which arrives in a purple and gold detailing. The last offering, the Forum Low Legacy features a black and copper upper, which symbolizes Kareem’s life commitment to being a leading voice for the fight for racial equality and social justice.
