Sometimes, a brand will hype up a sneaker beyond reason, expecting a “safe” silhouette to be an instant hit, often for the shoe to fall flat where it matters, with sneakerheads. On a completely unrelated note, remember the Jordan Legacy 312?! Its back!

Remember the Jordan Legacy 312? From 2018? We certainly do. A hybrid silhouette of the Jordan 1, 3, and Nike Air Trainer, the unique sneaker released in dozens of colorways in its debut year alone, and is etched into the memory of every sneaker blogger who covered the silhouette at the time (who, me?). The brand even got Don C to sign off on the shoe, adding his signature to the tongue labels for the initial releases in an attempt to forever associate the Chicago designer with the 312. Then, suddenly, the Legacy 312 disappeared, seemingly overnight, only to reappear in a brand new color scheme like nothing had happened, this week. Dressed in a smooth “Midnight Navy” palette, the look utilizes the Jordan 1’s “____ Toe” blocking to its advantage. While its unclear if Nike will continue to push the Jordan Legacy 312, we have no doubt this pair will hit shelves before the year is out.

JORDAN LEGACY 312 “MIDNIGHT NAVY” RELEASE INFORMATION

The return of the Jordan Legacy 312 has not yet been officially slotted for release, though we are expecting them to release sometime in the early months of 2022. The simple “Midnight Navy” color scheme will land at both Nike and select retailers, retaining the same $150 price tag of the original 312 releases several years ago.
