Jordan Brand is set to release a new Jordan 12 model to coincide with the 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup. The tournament will be held in China as 32 teams will look to compete for the cup.

As China is set to host the World Cup, Jordan Brand incorporates aesthetics from the host country. The FIBA Basketball World Cup is composed of 32 senior men’s national teams across four confederations. As a leading brand in basketball footwear, it makes perfect sense for Jordan Brand to release its Jordan 12 iteration of the event. The FIBA Basketball World Cup is scheduled from August 31st-September 15th and will surely deliver a lot of great moments.

The latest Jordan 12 iteration dons a minimalistic color scheme that helps its subtle features stand out. Dressed in an overarching white leather, the sneaker is accentuated by red and gold highlights throughout its upper. One of the most notable features is the mid-panel design showcasing flags of the countries involved in the global event. In addition to the design, the model also features Chinese text across its backtabs as a way to coincide with the host country. A must cop sneaker for any fan on and off the court.
