Travis Scott and Nike have formed what may become one of the most interesting relationships in sneakers. Having released two models in three colorways, the pair is now moving on to one of the most important shoes of all time: the Jordan 1.

Every time that Travis Scott and Nike are teaming up on a new sneaker, the footwear world drops everything to learn more. This month, the leak came directly from La Flame himself, as the Houston rapper took to his social media to unveil a special version of the Air Jordan 1 complete with his Cactus Jack branding. Since then, sneakerheads have been bursting at the seams for more information regarding the new release- specifically when they can get their hands on a pair. This week, thanks to Py_Rates, we have an answer.

In addition to sharing the early release date for the Travis Scott Air Jordan 1, the leak account also shared out best look yet at the new colorway. Beginning with a smooth white leather base, the signature overlays are dyed in a deep brown color, giving the shoe a Chicago-style color blocking. Featuring Nike branding on the tongue in brown as well as an homage to “Cactus Jack”, this Jordan’s defining feature is the reverse Swoosh that stretches across the medial paneling. Never seen before on a Jordan 1, this pair will surely be a hit among fans of the silhouette.

Travis Scott’s special edition Air Jordan 1 is not expected to launch anytime soon, with the preliminary date listed as April 2019. The price for these alternate Jordans has not been announced yet, though they will likely cost more than their standard $160 Retro counterparts.
