JJJJound’s sneaker collaborations have been some of the most sought-after in recent years, and they are only just getting started. This week, we got an early look at their debut project with Asics, coming soon.

JJJJound’s footwear projects have brought a newfound level of fame and hype to the Canadian basics brand. Collaborating with Vans, New Balance, Bape, and Reebok, the creative studio has something for just about everyone. Now, they are getting ready for a new partnership with Japanese running brand Asics, kicking things off with two colorways of the GEL-Kayano 14 runner. A fan-favorite amongst Asics’ heads, the vintage silhouette was recently revived for a run of retro styles, and, apparently, this enticing new project from JJJJound. Both pairs begin with a plain white mesh underlay, with metallic silver layers criss-crossing the upper. The outermost overlays, those which make up the Asics branding, come in your choice of black or white, with either a cream or white midsole for another slight change between the two. Additionally, the GEL-Kayano branding has been removed from the lateral heels in place of the Canadian brand’s logo.
