PUMA’s beloved Suede silhouette has made a resurgence this year, revived in its original form as PUMA’s presence in the sneaker world expands. This week, the Suede gets a premium upgrade courtesy of Footpatrol, launching in extremely limited numbers.
London boutique Footpatrol and German sportswear giant PUMA have linked up over the past few months to create a limited-edition release of PUMA’s famous Suede silhouette. The goal of the project is to highlight the vintage trainer in a special Made-in-Italy rendering, featuring pronounced nappy suede and other high quality materials. The Footpatrol x PUMA Suede begins with a luxurious shaggy black suede upper, mixed with white suede Formstrips for contrast. The inner lining is made from top-of-the-line leather for enduring comfortable wear, while gold foil PUMA branding appears on the lateral sides, along with each pair’s unique numbering near the heel. Finally, the special-edition release is completed by the addition of Footpatrol’s signature gas mask logo on the insoles, tongues, and heel badges.

Footpatrol and PUMA’s limited-edition take on the classic Suede has been scheduled to release later this week, on November 21st, 2020. The premium iteration of the vintage silhouette will be available exclusively via a Footpatrol raffle, though a price tag has yet to be announced.
