New Amsterdam jean maker, DENHAM will be working with Nike on an Air Max 1 that’s limited to only 6,800 pairs.
Founded in 2008 by Jason Denham, DENHAM the Jean Maker has only a couple of years in the industry but due to the passion and grit Jason has for creating premium materials, Nike has been inspired and will opt for an Air Max 1 collaboration with the English jean maker.
While the sneaker is mainly dressed in premium leather and suede, denim is used on the forefoot which adds a nice touch to the design. The upper arrives in denim tones with the majority arriving in Blue Indigo shades while khaki suede dresses the heel that fits right into the jean design. White is then used on the Nike Swoosh logo, laces, and even Air Max midsole while red contrasting accents are also used throughout. Doube branding can be found on the insoles and sockliner while a gum rubber outsole finishes off the interesting new look.
