Originally teased a couple of months back, Curren$y and BAPE’S “Jet Life” BAPE STA will officially be releasing this upcoming Saturday.
Straight out of New Orleans, Louisianna, Curren$y has made a name for himself around the hip-hop, rap, and fashion world. Now all his love and hard work for the sneaker industry have finally paid off with recognition from none other than BAPE for his very own BAPE STA sneaker. As apart of the 20th Anniversary of the shoe, it’s great to see BAPE acknowledge those who made it possible for the silhouette to rise above and stay relevant all these years and Curren$y is definitely one of them.
Featuring all-leather upper, blue paint the majority of the sneaker while turquoise is added to the iconic BAPE STA branding across the side paneling. The turquoise then continues onto the heel where the Jet Life logo is placed in as a direct nod to the New Orleans founded rap label. Yellow then highlights the sockliner and BAPE STA branding on the heels for just the right amount of vibrant tones to the silhouette/ White laces along with a white rubber midsole and outsole finish off the upcoming design.

The special Jet Life BAPE STA sneaker will be made available this upcoming Saturday, July 11th, 2020 via BAPE stores and BAPE.com. A retail price is still unknown as of now but we expect more details to surface soon on the collaboration.
