Cactus Plant Flea Market and Nike have another exciting project on the way. Previewed by A$AP Bari this week via Instagram, the latest work from Cynthia Lu reimagines the Nike Air Force 1 Low with Uptempo-styled lettering.

Cactus Plant Flea Market has been lighting up sneaker release calendars with the numerous Nike projects they’ve released so far in 2019. This week, the Cynthia Lu-led label shared a new Swoosh sample with friends and family as a preview of their next project. Luckily for us, some images of the wild new Air Force 1 have made their way online, courtesy of A$AP Bari.

CPFM is not known for shying away from bold, over the top projects, and the latest installment of their ongoing collaboration with Nike is no different. Taking on the legendary Air Force 1 Low as their canvas, Lu, formerly of Billionaire Girls’ Club, and her team have given the classic silhouette some wild new inspiration, courtesy of another legendary basketball silhouette, the Air More Uptempo. It is quite obvious what they borrowed from the Uptempo. Scrawled across the lateral sides of the shoe, in massive lettering, are the words AIR and FLEA, set on an all-white backdrop.

Due to the nature of our first look at the Cactus Plant Flea Market x Nike Air Force 1, we are not likely to see a release for this exciting new pair for quite some time, the two partners have shown in the past that they can work with short deadlines, as evidenced by their “Sponge” Nike By You project. Check out A$AP Bari’s first look below, and stay tuned to JustFreshKicks for any new information surrounding the CPFM Air Force 1.

UPDATE (October 20, 2019): Nike has confirmed that the Cactus Plant Flea Market Air Force will be available on their Nike by You customization platform tomorrow, October 21st, 2019. The release will let you choose between AIR FLEA and AIR SUNSHINE on either a black or white AF1, as well as an accent color. So far, a retail price has not been made available.
