The adidas Kamanda has garnered a cult following, and not a single colorway has released. Now, official images of the Three Stripes project with Italian Sportswear brand C.P. Company have appeared, detailing the collaborative new Kamanda.

The C.P. Company is not exactly a household name among sneaker collectors, though it may be after this collaboration with adidas. Founded in Italy in 1975 by Massimo Osti, (known for founding the iconic Stone Island brand) the label originally went under the name of Chester Perry, and produced high-end, forward-thinking items. The Kamanda makes this the perfect shoe to take on C.P.’s signature style, a brand new silhouette featuring classic, modern, and futuristic design elements. This special edition is draped in a maroon suede, and highlighted by a textured gum outsole. Simple white leather covers the heel tabs and makes up the dual-branded insoles. The tongue of the shoe is constructed from a knit material, and takes on the same maroon as the rest of the upper. Extra threads on the inner toes provide structural support, while details include a gold foil adidas Kamanda logo, as well as some sort of C.P. branding on the interior tongue. The project will also feature an updated version of the Goggle Jacket, one of Massimo’s most recognizable designs. The jacket takes inspiration from Japanese Civil Defense uniforms and WWII era gas masks, sewing lenses into an extended hood or collar, creating an eery military inspired look. The version featured in this collection will come in a bright orange color, featuring dual branding on the sleeve.

Very little is known about the C.P. Company’s project with adidas, other than that it will arrive in stores in August 2018. Stay tuned for more updates, and check out the preview below for a closer look.
