Well, this is certainly a new one. Over the weekend, Comme des Garçon’s Homme Plus held a showroom for Paris Fashion Week, where they showed off a new sneaker collaboration, featuring the Air Jordan 11.
CdG’s various labels all have special relationships with a range of sneaker brands. CdG proper and Homme Plus frequently work with Nike, dropping unusual archival silhouettes, typically in plain black or white builds. Over the years, Rei Kawakubo’s signature label has been able to get the Swoosh to reengineer old models, recast lost molds, and more, but one sneaker has always been out of reach, for any Nike collaborator; the Air Jordan 11. The 11 is one of the most protected models in the brand’s archives, held in high esteem by both the people that work on the shoe and us, the people who wear it.
For years, the AJ11 was only ever released in original colorways, or styles so good they became instant classics. In more recent years, Jordan and Nike have started to loosen that grip on the icon, allowing more unique interpretations of the silhouette to hit shelves. Now, CdG Homme Plus has done the impossible by managing to get the shoe as their collaborative offering for Fall 2026. This is the first-ever collaboration for the 11, which hasn’t even been included in Nike’s Doernbecher program, despite nearly every other OG Jordan getting a special release. CdG’s take is, as expected, quite simple. The model comes in either all black or all white, featuring a matte finish on the leather, a nice contrast to the shiny patent leather mudguards.
CDH HOMME X AIR JORDAN 11 RELEASE INFORMATION
The first-ever collaboration featuring the Air Jordan 11 will release later this year, likely during the Fall/Winter season. Previewed by Comme des Garçon’s Homme Plus team at Paris Fashion Week, the project comes, as usual, in two tonal colorways, black or white. Pairs feature premium materials, and will likely be available in limited numbers through Dover Street Market.
