CNCPTS is adored for their dedication to their sneaker collaboration, always bringing a unique story and design to each project. This week, they’ve unveiled an upcoming release with Asics, giving the shoe a colorful look and “Out of Office” theme.
Asics continues their hot streak of collaborations this season with a new project from CNCPTS on the way next month. The Boston-based retailer has produced some of the most beloved releases of the last two decades, from their premium New Balance releases to sought-after grails like the Nike Dunk Lobster series. For their next release, they’ve created the “Out of Office” GEL-Kayano 14.
CNCPTS and Asics have a strong relationship dating back over ten years, with the two releasing well over a dozen projects in the 2010s. However, its been a few years since we’ve seen them team up, and they’ve returned with a striking new pair for 2024. Though the shoe’s backstory is currently unknown, it has been dubbed “Out of Office”, and features a colorful take on the GEL-Kayano 14.
The new look features a white mesh for its base underlay, adding leather overlays on top in a soft shade of cream white. The swooping lines that make up the Asics branding feature a gradient of color on them, which transitions from red at the toes to yellow, and finally a brilliant lime green in the rear of the shoe. The same gradient appears on the tongue tags, while the inner lining finishes the look in a vibrant lime green shade.

The upcoming release from Boston’s CNCPTS and Asics is scheduled to release this week, on November 8th, 2024. The colorful “Out of Office” style of the GEL-Kayano 14 will likely be available exclusively through the retailer’s stores and online, with a price tag of $160.
