Reebok’s collaborations have been on point in recent years, and 2020 is going to be no different. This week, Brain Dead founder Kyle Ng took to Instagram to show off an upcoming project with the British footwear brand, delivering his take on the essential Reebok Classic.

Reebok’s archive of vintage workout trainers and running shoes have been a source for plenty of enticing collaborations over the years, of which partnered names include JJJJound, KANGHYUK, AWAKE NY, and more. Now, with Spring almost in full swing, Reebok is adding another new collaborator to the mix, streetwear/lifestyle brand Brain Dead. Founded and designed by Kyle Ng, Brain Dead has quietly been taking the streetwear world by storm, thanks to their impressive graphics and unique use of materials. That same principle appears to be the one behind their upcoming Reebok project as well, which remixes the Classic silhouette with new materials like a mesh base for the upper, and shaggy-haired suede for the Reebok Vector on the lateral side. Other details include hairy laces and a Brain Dead tongue logo.
