PUMA and The Black Fives launched their debut collaboration in February of this year. Now, the two have reunited, celebrating the launch of the Black Fives Online Museum, a curated collection of vintage basketball memorabilia.
PUMA’s recent team up with The Black Fives, an organization devoted to keeping the history of black basketball players, debuted back in February, celebrating the history of the game with a small capsule collection of both apparel and sneakers. Now, the two are back with another addition to their offerings, continuing with the theme of “Make History Now”. This time around, the two are focusing on the Suede Classic as their canvas, transforming the essential silhouette with The Black Fives signature blue and yellow color scheme, as well as a few t-shirts to go with it. The Black Fives Suede begins with a light blue tone across the suede upper, while chenille FormStrips adorn either side with yellow and navy blue patches, while “Make History Now” branding adorns the midsoles.

The upcoming capsule from PUMA’s “Make History Now” collection with the Black Fives, featuring Suede Classic in limited-edition form, is scheduled to launch later this week on June 18th, 2021. Following up on the pair’s Black History Month-inspired apparel collection from February, the sneakers will launch from both PUMA and select retailers, with price tags of $80 for the Suede and $40 for the tees.
