Already teamed up with Bape last year, Eric Emanuel is back for another round in 2020 featuring three new color variations of his iconic mesh shorts.
Eric Emanuel’s takeover in the fashion industry has been nothing short of special. The New York-based designer has gathered a cult-like following of fans ready for new designs and new takes of his sportswear pieces. One of the best and most sought after styles is his basic mesh shorts where he has unique designs too while applying his coveted Eric Emanuel double E logo on the right side. This year hype has nearly tripled for the shorts and with last years Bape styles retailing for nearly $140, to get your hands on a pair now, prices have nearly quadrupled with secondary market prices hitting the upper $600’s in certain colors.
The three colors set to drop this weekend are multi camo, red camo, and tribal camo. Each of the shorts is nice in their own way and will be bought up by BAPE, and Eric Emanuel fans alike but the main colorway people are talking about is the white pair which displays pink, blue, and yellow BAPE lighting motifs. Overall a nice collection and variety of colors, but with Eric Emanuel leading the efforts, it’s what we expected in the first place.
