In celebration of the 20th Anniversary, BAPE will be spending 2020 with a full lineup of new and old colorways of their coveted BAPESTA silhouette.
Originally released all the way back in 2000, the BAPE BAPESTA has seen its fair share of colorways and hype. While 2019 didn’t see much of either for the sneaker, 2020 looks to be a great year as BAPE has teased a year long celebration of the 20th Anniversary.
They took to instagram to tease the celebration and also provide a couple of images showcasing the sneaker in a couple of iterations. First off it appears the usual all-black and all-white colorway will kick off the year with a new features and an updated look while into the celebration exotic themes will begin to take place. Three different editions were shown one in a tonal zebra makeover, the second in leopard print and the third is a multiple-layered frenzy of all different sorts of animal prints.
