BAPE has already loaded up another colorway of their newly modified Bape Sta, following the settlement of their dispute with Nike. This time, the shoe gets their iconic camouflage print in a variety of colors for a “Multi-Cam” effect.
The long legal battle between Japanese brand BAPE and Nike ended this April. Last week, the Japanese streetwear giant released their first edition of the modified Bape Sta, which made some small changes to the shoe’s paneling and midsole sculpting to separate it from Nike’s Air Force 1, the shoe it was based on. Now, more new colors are already here, arriving via their US stores for Black Friday.
The new style of the Bape Sta releasing tomorrow brings their iconic ape camouflage pattern back to the high-end trainer. Each panel of the shoe features a different color scheme for the pattern, mixing classic black/green/tan/ styles with brighter shades like a hot pink and light blue styling. The star logos have been upscaled and applied in a rubberized material, with metal Ape heads dressing the laces.
