No strangers to one another, atmos and adidas once again collaborate on the iconic NMD R1 model. Dressed in its OG colorway, the latest iteration presents a new take on a classic.

The Tokyo-based brand returns for another installment in the NMD line. Its recent predecessor donned a snakeskin-like pattern that also glowed in the dark. Presented for the 7th atmoscon, the Japanese streetwear brand opted for a animal-inspired design. This time around, atmos looks back to the beginning of the NMD line to bring back a familiar colorway. The two brands combine a subtle yet intricate design that is sure to keep fans of the original satisfied.

As previously mentioned, the silhouette is reminiscent of its 2015 predecessor as its color scheme is similar. More recently, the pair also dons a close resemblance to the Tri Color Stripes NMD. One of the biggest changes to the atmos x adidas NMD R1 is the inclusion of the oversized “adidas” branding found throughout the front of the shoe. Its Black PrimeKnit upper is contrasted by Red, White, and Blue Stripes found on the lateral sides of each shoe respectively. Mixed-match heel tabs are also present creating a one-of-a-kind look.

The pair will release this upcoming November 2 2019 through their Tokyo location. Priced at ¥16,000 (around $148), there is no word if a state-side release will occur.
