atmos and New Balance are reuniting this month to release a new collaboration. The latest in a long line of projects from the Japanese retailer and Boston footwear brand comes in the form of the 580 this Summer, dressing the shoes for an outdoor adventure with the “Wood Escape” color scheme.
atmos has been a staple in the world of exclusive sneakers for decades. The retailer has established strong relationships with nearly every major footwear brand in the game, and regularly releases special colors of some of the most popular shoes on the market. This week, atmos is gearing up for the release of their latest work with New Balance, which takes the 580, a retro trail runner repurposed as a lifestyle shoe, back outdoors with the “Wood Escape” theme. The shoe’s color story takes you out of an urban environment and into a dense forest, casting the shoe in shades of brown nubuck with grey and off-white tones, and adding accents in lush green and bright orange to complete the look.
In other atmos-related sneaker news, the store is set to release their take on the Asics GT-2160 sometime in Summer 2024.
ATMOS X NEW BALANCE 580 “WOOD ESCAPE” RELEASE INFORMATION
The latest release from atmos and New Balance has been scheduled to release later this week, on June 29th, 2024. Featuring the 580 in an outdoor-inspired “Wood Escape” color scheme, pairs will be available via raffle from the Japanese retailer for approximately $124.
