adidas’ Yung-1 has been doing great in 2019, launching in some of their best colorways yet. This month, that trend continues, with atmos releasing their barbershop-inspired take on the silhouette this weekend.

The adidas Yung-1 has been having a great run since its introduction to the Originals arsenal. The debut in 2018 was preempted by a well-run marketing campaign, releasing in sellouts of the initial two colorways. Now, the refurbished 90s silhouette is making its rounds in the collaborative sector, taking on unique new colorways to tell stories from some of adidas’ best partners. This month, Japan’s atmos is taking their turn with the Yung-1.

atmos’ take on the adidas Yung-1 is themed after classic barbershops, and it translates beautifully onto the retro silhouette. The mesh base layers of the shoe come in white, stacked with overlays in cream and metallic silver coloring. The stripes on both shoes feature two blue lines on the outer sides, and one red dash through the center. The inner lining comes in blue, countered by the red tongue lining, a color blocking that is then repeated on the shoe’s outsole.

atmos and adidas are set to release their collaborative Yung-1 colorway on March 16th, 2019. The Barbershop-themed silhouette will retail for a casual $130, making this a great grab for the upcoming Spring and Summer months.
