Asics has upgraded another retro silhouette for this year with the GEL-Nimbus 10.1. After some initial collaborations and limited projects, their in-line offerings have started to arrive, including this “Grand Shark” blue pair, available now.
Asics’ GEL family of sneakers has been a huge source of inspiration for the Japanese brand in recent years, used as a platform to revive some past hits and engineer brand new models. This year, the 2008 GEL-Nimbus 10.1 made its debut, updating the icon with new tooling borrowed from the Kayano 14, another current fan-favorite model.
Late this Summer, Asics unveiled their first styles of the new GEL-Nimbus 10.1. The model officially debuted in a project with Stefon Diggs, one of their SportStyle supporters, and is now making its way to shelves in in-line options. This week, a new “Grand Shark” pair has landed, pitting the shoe’s open mesh layers in black and pairing it with a metallic glossy blue overlay.

Asics’ new colorways of the GEL-Nimbus 10.1 have started to land this week, and some are available as of October 8th, 2024. The “Grand Shark” blue pair is currently available in a wide range of sizes directly from the brand’s website for $160.
