Kyrie Irving has been busy on his new partnership with ANTA this year, teaming up with Chinese sneaker brand after leaving Nike. This week, he unveiled his first lifestyle model with the brand, the Kai Tribe, which arrives later this year.
Kyrie Irving’s first signature shoe with Chinese sneaker brand ANTA arrived earlier this year. The new partnership comes after Irving split ways with Nike back in 2022, and has been working with ANTA since then. The Kai 1 debuted at the end of the last NBA season, and has been steadily releasing in new colors since then. However, Kyrie took some time this week to reveal some new projects in the work.
During a talk earlier this week, Kyrie Irving stepped on stage sporting the Kai Tribe, his new lifestyle sneaker from ANTA, and his first casual model overall. Citing classic skate shoes as his inspiration, the Tribe features a leather and suede upper on top of a rugged cupsole. The model he wore came with a black leather underlay, mocha brown suede accents, and a mixed white & brown midsole unit.

Kyrie Irving’s first lifestyle shoe with ANTA, the Kai Tribe, has not been officially announced for release yet but is expected to arrive sometime later in 2024. The model is rumored to come with a price tag of just $70, but will likel only be available through ANTA’s website.
