The ALYX Studio x Nike Air Force 1 has been a relatively elusive sneaker to pin down, releasing sporadically from the NYC-based brand. This week, we got word that two new colorways may be launching soon, dressed in eye-catching red and black colors.

Matthew M. William’s exciting take on the Nike Air Force 1 returns this season, after nearly a years’ hiatus from a new colorway. Late in 2020, we saw the first batch of the 1017 ALYX AF1’s hit the market, releasing in waves from the brand’s website. Constructed from high quality tumbled leather and utilizing some of MMW’s favorite design elements, like the large Cobra Buckle on each strap, the ALYX AF1 has become a statement piece for its fans. This week, we got an early look at some new colorway rumored to be launching this week, moving away from Williams’ previous tonal looks. This time, the ALYX Air Force 1 will be available in two black & red colorways, the first of which applies eye-catching red straps and Swooshes to an otherwise black shoe, while the second pair reverses this blocking for a tonal red look.
