The Air Jordan 9 OG “Olive” Returns October 2024

Jordan Brand releases for 2024 are beginning to stack up, with leaks showcasing what we can expect in the new year. Recently, the Air Jordan 9’s OG “Olive” colorway has been rumored for a holiday season release.

The Air Jordan 9 is one of the most versatile signature shoes from Jordan Brand. Over the years, the silhouette has been released in both high- and low-top formats, as well as being reworked into a winter boot for several more recent releases, though its classic basketball style remains the iconic version. This week, the OG “Olive” color scheme has been rumored to see a retro release in 2024, likely during the holiday season. This color scheme was originally released in 1993 but has been retired before in 2002 and 2012, as well as last year’s “Concord” variant. However, the new release will be true to the original, featuring a black leather upper with olive-brown suede accents and bright red Jumpman branding.
