Jordan Brand has officially announced the release date for the Air Jordan 8 Retro “Championship Pack,” which pays homage to Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls’ “three-peat” championship basketball season in 1992-93.
Early photos indicate that the Air Jordan 8 “Championship Pack” will feature the same “Champagne” and “Cigar” colorway of previous releases. The Black/Metallic Gold/Anthracitepair pair, also known as the “Confetti” pair, will consist of black tumbled leather with a confetti print along the midsole and black speckles around the eye stays and heel. The Light Bone/Metallic Gold-White pair will feature a ‘Champagne’ colorway and consist of white tumbled leather, a pearlescent hue around the lace stays and heel, and a metallic gold side panel with Michael Jordan’s finger prints. Both pairs will depict the wording, “World Champions” and “Again and Again” on the inner straps. The two shoes will officially release on June 25th, 2016 and will retail for $250 each.
