Over the years the Air Jordan 5 has seen its fair share of “Grape” colorways. 2018 marking the last berry-inspired look, the Air Jordan 5 “Alternate Grape” looks to release in 2020

The Air Jordan 5 “Grape” debuted all the way back in 1990 and since then has grown into a craze for all sneakerheads. Although mixed with nostalgic feels, the Grape colorway adorned the Air Jordan 5 like it was just meant to be. Since the debut and the love the pair received, Jordan Brand has added new takes to the “Grape” look so fans new and young can all enjoy. As 2020 looks to be one of the biggest years ever for the brand, it only makes sense that the Air Jordan 5 would get a new take on the iconic grape color scheme.

Although no leaked photos have surfaced, it’s slated to take on Grape Ice, Black, Clear, and New Emerald. You can expect the special edition to feature a purple suede upper with Black and New Emerald accents all throughout. Finishing off the design is the fan-favorite translucent icy outsole. We will have to wait and see if Nike Air heel tabs will arrive on the backs.

Expect the Air Jordan 5 “Alternate Grape” to be apart of Jordan Brands Spring 2020 lineup and arrive sometime in April. They will be available at select retailers and Nike.com for an unknown price at the moment. As always stay tuned to JustFreshKicks as more information is expected to be released soon.
