The once PE, Air Jordan 3 “UNC” will finally be releasing to the public next spring but the GR pair will see some minor design changes.

Once a headline of a UNC Football scandal that left 13 players suspended for multiple games, the UNC Jordan 3 has always been in demand. While the shoe was just a PE and very limited, UNC athletes were enticed to sell for a lot of money which led them to be suspended for upwards of three games during the 2018 season. While the scandal is past us and will always be a big moment in Sneaker and NCAA history, the coveted sneaker will finally be released to the public in its Tar Heel colorway.

Calling upon a smooth white leather upper, accents of UNC blue honor Michael Jordans alma mater all throughout. While the PE pair featured a UNC logo on the tongue as well as “UNC Basketball” on the inner tongue, this pair that will release in 2020 will arrive with a different make up that features normal Air Jordan branding. The Nike Air logo will grace the heels while a white midsole wraps up the design very nicely.
