It’s Summer again, which means that Jordan Brand’s Quai 54 basketball tournament in Paris is right around the corner. Today Jordan Brand officially unveiled the footwear for the event, an Air Jordan 3 with some bold new color options.
Every year, Jordan Brand sponsors a world-famous basketball tournament in Paris, France. Titled Quai 54, the tournament began in 2002 and to this day remains the only streetball contest to be sponsored by the brand. Quai 54 has grown massively in popularity since it began, attracting crowds of up to 20,000 to the free event. As a part of the Jordan Brand sponsorship, the Nike subsidiary has made a habit of releasing exclusive colorways made for the tournament in limited numbers. This year, Jordan has made the obvious choice to celebrate the anniversary of the Air Jordan 3, painting the famous silhouette in an all-new “Quai 54” colorway.
This year’s Air Jordan 3 for the Quai 54 tournament is one of the best-looking releases of the Summer. The Jordan 3 begins with a black upper made from smooth tumbled leather. The mudguard and heel clip come in black too but instead are made from a soft suede to contrast the rest of the upper. Each plastic eyelet on the Jordan 3 comes in a different color, one set lime green, one light blue, and one in the famous Infrared color. This tricolor selection is matched by the midsole, which features three colored sections around the heel.

The new Air Jordan 3 for the Quai 54 tournament is scheduled to release on July 7th, 2018 from European retailers. The bold new colorway will retail for $190, the standard Jordan 3 price right now.
