Jordan Brand really is pulling out all the stops this year. We already know the brand would be releasing an unprecedented number of retros, including some strange silhouettes, but nobody expected the Jordan 18 in a beautiful three-part suede pack.
The Air Jordan 18 is one of the most recognizable sneakers from the brand for those that know their history. Michael Jordan debuted the shoe in 2003 as a member of the Washington Wizards, and it would be the last Air Jordan that His Airness wore in his professional career. The design of the shoe was futuristic at the time because of the seamless one-piece upper. However, the Jordan 18 is best remembered for the button-fly cover that shields the lacing system. Earlier this year, the 18 returned in the form of a luxurious new “Raging Bull” colorway. Now, Jordan Brand is revisiting some design cues from that pair for a bold new pack coming this Fall. The Suede pack of Air Jordan 18s so far contains three new colorways; yellow, orange, and blue. Each pair is constructed using premium suede across the upper in a monotone color scheme and a plain white midsole. Each pair features some kind of numbers or letters across the tip of the tongue, though currently, we do not know what they stand for.
AIR JORDAN 18 SUEDE PACK RELEASE INFORMATION
The new Air Jordan 18 Retro Suede pack is scheduled to drop on September 15th, 2018. All three colorways from the collection will retail for $225, and likely be available from both Nike and select retailers.
