The team at Jordan is setting up a new series that is called “Rivals” Pack and it will feature shoes dedicated to other NBA teams that Michael Jordan has had historical moments with. Check out this First Look at the Air Jordan 13 “Lakers”.
Let’s flashback to the 1990-91 NBA Finals, Michael Jordan’s invasive basketball career was just getting started. The Chicago Bulls defeat the Los Angeles Lakers in five games to win the Finals marking it as the first NBA Championship in the Bulls’ 25th season. Michael Jordan was just getting his career started and this was the Championship that created the monster. Now we look to get a Jordan 13 honoring the Lakers and the 91 NBA Finals.
The upper is kept rather simple with an all over white leather that features purple suede overlays. White laces tie the sneaker down as University Gold accents complete the Lakers theme. A purple and black midsole then complete the design. Overall a very eye-pleasing 13 that has a great story behind it.

It is rumored that we will see these roll-out on July 20th, 2019 at select retailers and Nike.com for a retail price of $190.
