The Air Jordan 13 has been making the rounds as of late. The shoe has plenty of history as one of the last that Mike played in, though the next release doesn’t appear to play into that style. Check out the “Atmosphere” colorway, coming in 2019.

The Air Jordan 13 is perhaps one of the most interesting models to come from Tinker Hatfield’s days on the design team. The shoe was inspired by a large black cat, thanks to Tinker’s observation that that’s how Michael moved and acted on the court. When he brought this observation to him, the GOAT was astonished, asking Tink: “How did you know my closest friends call me the black cat?” With this sentiment in mind, the Air Jordan 13 was born. Now, 20 years later, the shoe is gearing up for another interesting new release. This time around, the smooth leather upper of the Jordan 13 comes in a dark grey tone, with a white suede toe cap and grey suede shanks. To finish off the look, the midsole is split with a grey base and white bulbs.

The smooth new Air Jordan 13 colorway is scheduled for release sometime in 2019, though no specific date is available. The “Atmosphere” colorway will likely retail at the $190 price point, and drop from both Nike and select retailers.
