Jordan Brand has a special release arriving this Holiday season as the Air Jordan 12 will feature a reverse Flu Game theme.

Originally released in 1997, the Air Jordan 12 “Flu Game” is one of if not the most popular 12’s in Jordan Brand’s huge arsenal of colorways. The shoe that Michael Jordan wore in the 1997 NBA Finals when he dropped a total of 38 points all while suffering from flu symptoms. Just the back story of the sneaker alone created unheard amounts of demand for the design and they ended up being retro’d three different times in 2003, 2009 and then lastly in 2016.

Now four years later, Air Jordan will be providing an alternate version that flips the original design into a fresh brand new look. Featuring the original Varsity Red and Black color scheme, Red leather is expected to equip the majority up the upper while black paneling will cover the mudguard and toe.
