Over the last two years, we have seen several iterations of Michigan-branded Air Jordan sneakers. Now, after the PSNY and PE editions disappeared off the internet, Jordan Brand has unveiled an official Air Jordan 12 “Michigan”, coming soon.

The University of Michigan first joined Nike’s lineup of sponsored universities back in the Summer of 2016 and has been a focal point in Nike’s apparel push ever since. Just a few months after the announcement of the new deal, Michigan’s world-class football team debuted new jerseys as part of a sport-specific partnership with Jordan Brand. Since this big reveal, we have seen several different versions of Michigan-themed Air Jordans, though none have been released to the public, until now.

Later this month, Jordan Brand will officially release the Air Jordan 12 “Michigan” silhouette we first saw last year. The shoe has surfaced online in multiple versions since we first heard of its existence. One player-exclusive edition was seen in brief images, while another was discussed heavily after being leaked by Public School New York. Now, the blue-and-maize Jordan 12 will finally be made available to the public in the coming weeks.
