The Air Jordan 11 is one of many collectors’ most favored silhouettes from the brand. Finally, after many iterations throughout the years, Jordan Brand will be releasing the shoe in a much anticipated “Blackout” colorway.

The Air Jordan 11 has taken a step back from the spotlight in recent years, only returning in special colorways and for a holiday season release. This year, Jordan Brand has finally decided to issue the coveted 11 in a new “Blackout” colorway that has never been released. The new variation of the Jordan 11 first appeared back in 2011 in a sample collection from the brand that painted every Jordan from 1-23 in a triple-black makeup. The “Blackout” 11 was the highlight of the pack that stayed in collector’s minds for years to come. Now, the shoe is said to be releasing later this Spring, appeasing many who waited for this special colorway. The retail shoe is expected to feature a normal high-cut Jordan 11 build, with a black patent leather strip running around the middle. You can also expect the heel of the shoe to be constructed from rich tumbled leather, while the midfoot area around the laces from a comfortable mesh. As the “Blackout” name implies, this Air Jordan 11 is swathed almost entirely in black, apart from the translucent rubber outsole.

The long-anticipated Air Jordan 11 “Blackout” is set to debut later this Spring on May 26th. The triple-black model will retail for $220, so mark your calendars and start saving because these will definitely sell out quickly.
