The Air Jordan 1 is always going through changes. Whether it’s a new technology like Flyknit, or simply a new colorway for the season, there is always something new coming. This month, we have a first look at the Jordan 1 Low Slip-On for women.

The Air Jordan 1 Low is not the most hyped shoe in Jordan’s arsenal, but that doesn’t keep it from being great. While this year saw the release of a low-top Flyknit version as well as a shortened “Shadow” pair, the silhouette continues to evolve into new forms. This month, a new construction of the Jordan 1 Low has surfaced online, switching things up in a major way. Built with matching black and white tumbled leather uppers, featuring the classic Air Jordan 1 overlays. The Swooshes on either side have been removed and replaced with a simple perforated outline to represent the Nike branding. Additionally, the lacing system has been removed entirely and replaced with a single button fly on either side of the collar, attaching the tongue to the paneling. Next, the tongue is covered from top to bottom with extra branding, taking on the style of the inner size labels.
