The Air Jordan 1 KO returned midway through last year, releasing in both classic and new colorways. Now, Jordan Brand has more pairs planned for 2023, including this ‘Bleached Aqua’ look releasing in May.

The Air Jordan 1 KO originally released alongside the OG pairs in 1986. Designed as an early ‘takedown’ model, the shoe featured a simplified canvas construction, making them more affordable than the all-leather AJ1 High. Since then, the KO has not maintained the same level of popularity as its older sibling, though they still hold a special place in the hearts of many sneakerheads. Luckily, Jordan Brand brought them back last year, releasing classic Chicago and Storm Blue colorways alongside some of the famous college models like Syracuse’s bright orange look. Now, we have an early look at a new ‘Bleached Aqua’ pair scheduled to release this spring. This pair features a white canvas base layer for the toe box, midfoot, and heels, with bright aqua blue canvas for the mudguards and eyestays. The collar and Swoosh pieces come in a matching aqua shade, but constructed from leather for a premium finish.
