This interesting new Air Jordan 1 “Homage to Home” first appeared last year, but was largely forgotten until now. Official images of the mach-up pair have surfaced online, as well as information about the release.

Michael Jordan’s time with the Chicago Bulls was one of the most dominant periods by a player in NBA history. Winning multiple championships, MVP awards, scoring titles, and setting records all over the scorebooks, his performance with the Bulls is surely something to be celebrated. This year, it appears that is exactly what Jordan Brand has decided to do, taking his most iconic silhouette and decorating it with the two most sought after Jordan 1’s in the Bulls’ red, white, and black. Each shoe is split in the middle, heel to toe, and features the “Chicago” colorway on the medial sides, while the lateral sides are decked out in the classic “Bred” colorway. Even the Nike Air branding on the tongue features a black & white split down the middle. The shoes will come prepared with black laces, with additional red laces given as well.

The split Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG is set to arrive in stores on May 19th, 2018. The “Homage to Home” will come with a retail price of $190, slightly more than recent Jordan 1 retros. Check out the official images of the shoe below, and stay tuned to JustFreshKicks for more Air Jordan release dates.
