Jordan Brand will be releasing a brand new Air Jordan 1 this Holiday season that appears to don a similar design to the coveted Top 3 colorway.

The demand behind the Jordan 1 is likely the nostalgic colorways that have adorned the silhouette. Of course, they were the first-ever Jordan, and knowing the GOAT wore them on the court has a lot to do with it as well, the colorways released originally have always been in demand. Jordan Brand has always found a way to incorporate the Varsity Red and Royal themes to the silhouette with multiple different colorways throughout the years and is one reason why the Top 3 colorway is loved by sneakerheads all around the world due to the combination of the “Chicago” and “Banned” theme all in one shoe.

The Top 3 Air Jordan 1 released in 2016 is one of the fan favorites from Jordan Brand’s impressive lineup of great themes. Now in 2020, it looks to come back with a fresh new design that arrives with a more subtle and classic look when compared to the OG. While no leaked images have surfaced the official colorway dons a “White/Royal/Varsity Red/Black” which sets up the shoe for white leather paneling on the toes, sides, and tongue which allows black overlays to flood the toes, Nike Swoosh, and forefoot. Varsity Red is then expected to paint the heel while Royal covers the ankles for a great new take on the Top 3 design.
