Jordan Brand has been making some important moves with their beloved Jordan 1 in recent years. The silhouette is highly regarded as one of the best sneakers of all time, and rightly so. Now, we have a first look at a potential new Jordan 1 colorway arriving in stores later this year. This week, Jordan Brand officially announced the new colorway, giving if the “A Star is Born” name along the way. The inspiration comes from the end of Michael’s first NBA season when he won his Rookie of the Year Award, as well as being featured on the cover of the legendary sports magazine. The new colorway pays homage to the famous cover with a white base, black outer layers, and a green gradient Swoosh taken directly from the famous cover image.
