The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG is simply the absolute best and closest version to the original that we have today. Unsurprisingly, sneakerheads go nuts every time they release, so you can imagine the excitement brewing for 1985’s black & white colorway.

Consumers can never get enough of the Air Jordan 1. For almost thirty-four years now, the high-top basketball silhouette has been a staple of both sneaker and fashion communities. The Jordan 1 has released in numerous variations of shape and color in this time, though nothing ever really compares to the original set of colorways in the eyes of sneakerheads. This month, surprising news has rocked fans of the Air Jordan 1, as an original 1985 colorway will release in retro fashion for the first time ever. Currently known under its “Panda” moniker, the new Air Jordan 1 colorway is not necessarily anything exciting or especially new; it’s just an extremely good looking color scheme of one of the best sneakers ever produced. Beginning with an all-white base layer of tumbled leather, the Jordan 1’s iconic overlays are dressed in plain black, right down to the prominent Swoosh on either side. The Wings logo on the lateral side stands out in white, while the tongue’s Nike Air branding is embroidered in black. Finally, one minor change has been made for the new Jordan 1 release: instead of the original white laces, this time they will come stock with plain black ones instead.
