Nike’s release of a Gore-Tex-equipped Air Jordan 1 was a hit when they debuted late last year. Now, the Swoosh is prepping a number of new colorways, including this bright “Berry” look, coming soon.
The Air Jordan 1 Gore-Tex is here to stay, having finally given sneakerheads the chance to rock one of the most beloved silhouettes of all time in nearly any condition. Constructed from a mix of durable Gore-Tex-lined underlays and finished by waterproof nubuck panelling, the AJ1 GTX is a veritable beast of an outdoor shoe. Lucky for us, Nike is already showing off a small handful of new colorways after the shoe’s debut in December 2021. This week, we are taking an early look at a bold “Berry” style, which mixes a faded purple underlay with eye-catching deep violet shades for the nubuck overlays.

The latest colorway of the Air Jordan 1 High Element, equipped with water-resistant Gore-Tex panelling, has not been announced for release, though they are expected to release in the coming weeks. The bold “Berry” tones of this GTX AJ1 will be available from both Nike and select retailers, with a price tag of $200 attached.
