Unfortunately, we’ve got some (slightly) bad news for you guys. The Air Jordan 1 model is expected to get a price increase in 2020.

Something that was inevitable, the iconic Air Jordan 1 is expected to raise its retail price tag in 2020. Likely due to the fact of production cost and also hype, now is a great time for the price to raise. Jordan Brand has been on the ball when it comes to colorways and material as each Jordan 1, looks to get better leather each release. With better leather comes extra production costs so it only makes sense that the original Jordan will be seeing an increase in price.

It also is a great time for the brand because of how well the shoe has been performing. The hype has never been better and all Jordan 1’s have sold out pretty quick this year. A price increase will serve the brand well. We already have had a couple of leaks for 2020 with the “Royal Toe”, “Court Purple” and “Dark Mocha” so they look to be going pretty hard for 2020.

Now you may be wondering how much of an increase, and honestly it’s not a huge one. The retail price is set to go from $160 to $170. Still, with the Jordan 1, durability and the hype, $170 is not a bad price point as well. The 1 is also one of the cheapest Jordans yet its the most coveted, so we should be grateful for that because Jordan Brand can raise that price by a lot yet they don’t. Although just a rumor now, we should get more information on it as 2020 draws nearer. For now, enjoy all the Jordan 1’s you can for their $160 price tag. As always keep it locked to JustFreshKicks for more of the latest sneaker news.
