Afew and Diadora are back at it. Just days after the two celebrated the historic “Highly Addictive” project from 2017, the two are back with their next entry in the series, which flips the N.90002 in black & purple for the “Master Formula”.
If the “Highly Addictive” V7000 from 2017 was an ode to the pitfalls of sneaker collecting and “jawnz addiction”, then the latest project from afew and Diadora is the exact opposite. The “Master Formula” N.90002, cooked up by the same Dr. Wefa as the last two addiction-based projects, the new work instead pays homage to the sense of community that sneakers have helped foster for many. Constructed from kangaroo leather and pigskin suede, the “Master Formula” look mixes a black base layer, purple overlays, and rainbow accents to showcase the love, passion, diversity, and friendships that have been built out of a love of footwear. Just so you never forget, these same qualities can be found printed across the two insoles.

The latest work from Dusseldorf’s afew and Diadora, the N.90002 “Master Formula”, is scheduled to debut next week on September 7th, 2019, as an NYC exclusive before releasing globally on September 14th. The luxurious black & purple color scheme will retail for a hefty $220 price tag, and launch from both afew and select Diadora accounts.
