Before the cancellation of the Tokyo Summer Olympics this special edition of the adidas ZX Torsion was going to celebrate the anticipated event.

If you hadn’t found out earlier, sadly the 2020 Summer Olympics that was expected to go down in Tokyo this Summer had to be postponed to next year in 2021 due to the COVID-19 outbreak that has shocked the world. Now athletes have to train another dull year for the event and brands are left with commemorative sneakers that were supposed to celebrate the event. Just like this adidas ZX Torsion.

This edition sports a black based upper that’s composed of mesh, leather and suede. White embroidered pin striping is added for a nice touch while colorful Three Stripes branding adorns the side paneling. An Olympic-styled Trefoil logo graces the tongue while a split white and black midsole completes the new look.
