adidas innovations over the past five years have let to some of their most impressive and popular sneakers of all time. This month, the Three Stripes is set to debut another new silhouette, pulling from some of their most beloved families; ZX and Boost.
This is not our first look at the ZX 2K. Okay, well, it is our first look at this version. But our official first look came back in March, when adidas showed off their upcoming new Futurecraft 4D silhouette, the ZX 2K 4D. The new silhouette continues where the original 4D ZX shoe (the ZX40004D) left off, reworking one of adidas’ most beloved franchises into a new silhouette with new technologies. We were impressed, and even more so this week when a second iteration of the ZX 2K surfaced, this time, with Boost. While this second version is remarkably different from its identically-named twin, they share the same ZX DNA throughout the upper’s various overlays and mesh patterns.
