For the 50th Anniversary, the adidas Superstar has been all over the place. With Star Wars collaborations, to a partnership with Run DMC, adidas has been going all out for the commemorative year. Now a camo variation of the classic sneaker just surfaced which is expected to hit retailers very soon.
For many of us 50 years is hard to imagine. Only a fraction of how old most of us are, the Superstar has been a staple in the sneaker and athletic community for quite some time. While fans have been questioning if adidas is going to stop giving new editions of the shoe for the past couple of months, it really doesn’t appear the second half of the year will be any different from the first.
This edition adds onto the classic leather look while adopting a sandy camo graphic throughout for an all-over camo aesthetic. Usual elements are then implemented like the black leather Three Stripes and heel counter as well as gold detailing on the tongue and heel tabs. The sneaker is then complemented with creamy laces which looks great with the chalk-white shell toe upper and rubber midsole and outsole.

While official images just surfaced, release details were left behind but we expect a drop to go down very soon in the coming weeks via select retailers and adidas.com. The Camo adidas Superstar will also carry the same great price as usual, with a sleek $90 price-tag.
