adidas and Marvel have more in store for us this week than just their “Heroes” basketball collection. Today, Footlocker announced a new adidas Speedfactory AM4, made to the exact specifications of the Mad Titan himself, Thanos.

The adidas Speedfactory always has a special release on the horizon. This month, the Three Stripes advanced manufacturing facilities are hard at work getting ready for tomorrow’s release of two new colorways. This project has adidas teaming up with several collaborators, including Footlocker and Marvel, but more specifically Marvel illustrator Jen Bartel. Known for her Captain Marvel and Thanos artwork, adidas and Marvel have adapted these characters into sleek new color schemes just in time for the latest Avengers movie.

While the Captain Marvel pair was already released alongside the hero’s solo movie last month, adidas has gone ahead and made some more pairs to go alongside the new Thanos pair. For this look, the adidas AM4’s thin Primeknit upper is split into two tones, purple for the forefoot, and gold for the rear and heel sections. Black support cages and heel counters are present, both accented with gold to fit Thanos’ regal look. Finally, each of the six infinity stones is present on the outer heel of each shoe.

The latest adidas Speedfactory project sees the Three Stripes teaming up with Footlocker for two Avengers-themed shoes. Both the “Thanos” and “Captain Marvel” adidas AM4’s will retail for their usual $150 price tag, and release from exclusively via Footlocker.
