adidas will be tugging at our hearts in 2022 with the return of the adidas Crazy 97 EQT Dunk Contest which Kobe Bryant wore back in 1997.
All the way back in 1997, where Kobe made history as the youngest NBA player to win the Dunk Contest, the upcoming star would don a special laker themed rendition of the adidas Crazy 97 EQT which would later be dubbed, “Dunk Contest” thanks to the history that was made by Kobe in the pair of shoes. Now in 2022 for the 25th Anniversary, adidas will be bringing back the pair for fans to enjoy. The rendition is expected to feature the same exact build as the original pair from 1997 with a full leather upper consisting of the Lakers purple and gold colorway.
